That's it!!! The end of the world is here!!!
Well that's it - I'm 30 today!! So you may as well send me all the comments and wise-cracks now to get them out of the way!!
So I celebrated my birthday with the clock striking midnight as I was stood in the pouring rain waiting to get in a nightclub. Hardly the may I'd imagined bringing up the end of my third decade!! Still, not a bad night spent with some good friends, and topped off with a giving them a good thrashing at pool (they forget I went to university - though it helped being the only one still able to see the balls!). Then I came home, watched a bit of the cricket, fell asleep and woke up to find England were beating the Aussies (we eventually won!), so not a bad start to the day on the whole!
At this point I'd like to thank all my family and friends for their support and help over the last 30 years - here's to the next 30 years! To my Mum and Dad - I promise I will move out at some point in the next 30 years!! Honest!!
So what now?? Well, I think complete the celebrations today. As for what I'm going to do for the next 30 years - well the next 30 days will probably have a big influence on it, but for now I'm going to sit back, relax and enjoy the attention. So far, being 30 doesn't feel any different!! Mind you, the old back isn't quite as good as it used to be!!
Thanks to you all - here's to the next 30!!
Until the next time.................
